So I am embarrassed to say it but I can't do 3rd grade math.  Capricorn's son is learning fractions and I have always HATED fractions!  Instead of admitting that I have NO CLUE I told him to do what he can and if he gets it wrong then the teacher clearly didn't do a good job that day and it is her fault so she needs to teach it again.  Most other times I just do it for him (I mean with him) but fractions, oh God, I shudder at the thought.

He is learning some fancy new math too - like rules and ins and outs and I just want him to go back to the days where you memorized the crap!  2x2=4 for the love of God!  Homework is an issue for us every night and causes major fights.

ANYBODY ELSE EMBARRASSED THAT THEY CAN'T DO THEIR KIDS' HOMEWORK?
