    THANK GOODNESS FOR NANNA!

So it's no secret, I am not a kid person.  I do what I need to do to get through the day with baby #1, make sure I am home when he gets home from school, make sure he gets a snack, make sure he wears his pads when he goes skateboarding, make sure I cook dinner and we all eat together, make sure he does his homework, make sure he has clean clothes for school tomorrow, and make sure he knows he is loved.  Besides that, I have no desire to play Guitar Hero so he can try to beat me (he can't), swim in the pool so he can splash me in the face (annoying), or go outside to watch him try to nail that skatboard trick he's been trying to get for three months (let me know when you have it down).  So imagine my horror when school was coming to a close for the year and Capricorn didn't have any money saved for summer camp or a babysitter.  Hell NO I am not spending all summer listening to "I'm bored" or when can we go to the skate park or all you do is sleep (actually all I do is work but in my bedroom since I have NO SPACE TO MYSELF!).  So Capricorn's job was to figure it out.  I am not a glorified babysitter and I am sure not his baby's mama so he needs to get another job to get that kid in camp for 8 hours a day or he can move out.  Sounds mean, maybe, but spending ALL DAY with a child acting as the activities director is not what I signed up for.  God bless Capricorn's heart for realizing that and calling his mom, the baby's Grandmother.  She stepped up and between herself and the baby's mamma, they are going to make it work.  Bless their hearts.  Keep him off the sugar, make sure he gets some sleep, and keep him outside and away from the TV!  Yeah, sure, we all know that is not going to happen, we are going to get him back in a few months and have to deprogram him all over again.  BUT, I have all summer to myself where I don't even have to think about it.  As long as he doesn't forget how to do chores, we'll be just fine when school starts again in August.
