I don't blog as often as I should. Problem is that being the Channel 955 Creative Services Director, I tend to have full, busy days. Managing Deep Voice Guy, or DVG as he likes to be called now, is a full-time job in and of itself.

For those still interested in what i do, and in any behind-the-scenes aspect of the final on-air sound of 955, I hope you keep checking back. Eventually, I'll get my ish in order and do this regularily.

To recap, for anyone who may not know: My job is to write and produce all the audio imaging you hear on 955. For example, every day after his show, I sit with Mojo and produce his daily recap promo that runs for that particular day. Anytime Deep Voice Guy is doing something for 955 on the air, I'm the one responsible. NO - I AM NOT DEEP VOICE GUY. I actually live in the real world. I don't dream of pink elephants and white puffy clouds when I sleep, and I have never had my backyard dug up to see if Jimmy Hoffa was buried in it. But when he's supposed to start a song and is late, it's all my fault.

The iPod to the left of my page has not been updated since I started the blog, and eventually, I'll do that too, but I might have A.D.D. a little,  so I can only do one thing at a time.....now...what was I saying. Wow, look at that blinking light. Coool.

I have no idea if anyone is even reading this, so if you are interested, it'd be cool to let me know, so I am not just talking to myself, like I usually do in my studio when no one is around. Writing to myself online? That'd just be plain embarrassing.

Kanye may be a genuis artist and makes lots of money, and have had a horrible personal experience recently when his mom passes away, but that doesn't mean he can be a prick. After a really great tribute song to his mom, which had me emotional, I'll admit, he then ruined it all, by acting llke a cocky a-hole after winning the grammy. Yeah, I guess he has a right to be confident, but the manner in which he says what he says makes him come across as insecure and full of crap.
